There's an aura present with The Bare Bones Boogie Band that's not to be found with many blues bands. Watching this four piece band live is enlightening; a band thriving on achieving a sound as tight as possible, then letting it all go with a sweet, raucous blast. They may drag in their musical influences from such luminaries as Vinegar Joe, Led Zeppelin and Free, before launching it out alongside Helen Turner's incredible vocal abilities imbibed with the spirit of Janis Joplin, but their attitude is simple: let loose and have some fun . . . Stiff Joints is one of the classiest pub-rock bands in South-West London with a repertoire that ranges from blues and rock n roll, to folk-rock and sparkling originals. Formed over 90 years ago the band has a total of 4000 years of musical experience....the amazing Dan, already a legend in his own lunchtime, ...Saraid, keyboard virtuoso and winner of...things,.....Siobhan, frontman, stand-up comedian and waves arms around, and....the others: P Doddy aka Daddy, guitar fiend and Gerry Adams lookalike and Rev. Founded down the road in Sheen in the dark days of 2000, Total Eclipse are established favourites on the pub/restaurant circuit. For their Halfway House gigs, the quartet's brand of cool jazz is spiced up by the red hot vocals of jazz/blues diva CJ Jenkins. Nice!!
